For the majority of us we spend a significant amount of time at work. How we feel at work impacts our productivity, relationships inside and outside of work, and our wellbeing. The right culture can generate innovative and creative ideas to deliver to the strategy in ways that otherwise would be unlikely to surface.

If we are managing people’s time and priorities in the workplace, we have a duty of care to how we do that. Culture and strategy must both be in alignment. You can have a brilliant strategy but if the culture is toxic or divided it will hinder the delivery of the strategy. If the culture is positive and strong but the strategy is not clear or communicated no amount of positivity will deliver to the goals. Both strategy and culture need to be the focus. The right culture can generate innovative and creative ideas to deliver to the strategy in ways that otherwise would be unlikely to surface.

My leadership workshops are for ethical leaders to develop the knowledge and skills to connect with their people in a way that will increase creativity and innovation in your teams and wellbeing at an individual level – including yours as a leader. I weave in research and practical techniques from the work of Simon Sinek, Brene Brown and Sue Knight, Joe Dispenza, Chris Duncan and many others.

My team culture workshops and courses connect to the individual so that they first reconnect with themselves and who they are while then connecting to the business values and their colleagues. The workshops and techniques can grapple with relationship challenges without confrontation, or people feeling under attack.

I use these techniques myself in the workplace in real life so I understand the challenges you face. The course does not promise to deliver this information and you are then done. It is a way of interacting with your teams that requires your commitment. This change takes time and differs in length of time for us all. We often fall back to old ways of behaviour as a leader that are not in alignment with how we want to be.

I recommend 1:1 coaching support or group support for a minimum of three months to make the new leadership practices and ways of thinking your default.
